One whole chalet for two families or a group of friends: five bedrooms, a large terrace, BBQ, fast Wi-Fi. World-class bike trails, 250 km of hiking paths and the turquoise Lake Cauma are minutes away.
Between June and October, Flims Laax Falera is a different valley: alpine meadows instead of pistes, swimming days at Lake Cauma instead of après-ski, trails instead of lift queues – and prices well below the winter season. Casa Campanula sits above Laax, quiet and with a view over the valley, yet only a 15-minute walk or a three-minute drive from the village with its bakery, grocery store and restaurants.
Our grandfather built the house in 1969 as the place where the whole family comes together in the mountains. That is still exactly what it is made for: room for ten, one long table, and a terrace where evenings refuse to end.
Five bedrooms with seven beds, four bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen and a living room with a balcony facing the valley. Each family has its own rooms, and everyone still ends up at one table for breakfast.
Sorry, no pets. Check-in from 4 pm, check-out by 10 am.

Swimming day: Lake Cauma and Lake Cresta are both at Flims – lawns, lido facilities and SUP rental. At Lake Cauma a small funicular takes swimmers from the car park down to the water.
Hiking day: From the easy loop around Lake Cauma, via the Rhine Gorge, to the Sardona hut in the UNESCO Tectonic Arena. The cable cars to Crap Sogn Gion and Nagens open up the high mountains for those who prefer walking down to walking up.
Bike day: Buy a bike pass, gondola up, trail down – and again the next evening. Our German-language bike week guide has the details.
Rainy day: Therme Vals (Peter Zumthor's thermal baths), the climbing gym, Chur with the oldest old town in Switzerland – or a card game at the big table while the clouds roll by.
Guest card: With the Flims Laax Falera guest card you ride the local bus between Flims, Laax and Falera for free and get discounts on cable cars and excursions. You receive it from us at check-in.
